Son of Too Darn Hot lands Jumeirah 2,000 Guineas

Too Darn Hot’s exciting three-year-old son Title Role won his first Black Type race on Saturday, 28 February when landing the Jumeirah 2,000 Guineas. Run over the Meydan turning mile, he was held up off the fast pace before asserting in the straight to beat a pair of Godolphin performers in Pacific Avenue (Dubawi) and Toast Of New York.

Bred by Hascombe and Valiant Stud, Title Role was a 500,000gns Breeze-Up purchase and out of the US G3 winner Valiant Girl.

It was the second Stakes winner on the Meydan card for Too Darn Hot after Native Approach, winner of the G3 Nad Al Sheba Turf Sprint. He has now sired four Black Type winners in 2026 including G1 hero Tropicus.
