Dar Re Mi’s Tiger Hill half-brother in winning form at Maisons-Laffitte while Petrushka’s daughter salutes on debut

Dual Group One winner Dar Re Mi has been a tremendous flag-bearer for Singspiel this season and the family’s good name looks likely to be extended further courtesy of her two-year-old half-brother by Tiger Hill, Rewilding.

The Andre Fabre-trained colt made his debut for Sheikh Mohammed last month, finishing runner-up on that occasion, but he went one better at Maisons-Laffitte on 9 November, to win the mile conditions race by a length.

Another well-bred Tiger Hill two-year-old made an eye-catching debut at Lingfield on 29 October when Padmini, a daughter of Irish Oaks heroine Petrushka, scored by a length and a half for Godolphin in a seven-furlong maiden.

Tiger Hill has now sired eight two-year-old winners this season, including the Group Three-placed Eternal Power and Tamaathul, whose Doncaster maiden win has earned him a Timeform rating of 97p.
