Virtual Game wins his second Stakes race

Son of Kheleyf lands the Premio Merano at Milan

Kheleyf's three-year-old son Virtual Game secured his second victory at Stakes level on Sunday June 2 when victorious in the Listed Premio Merano over 2000m at Milan. A three-time juvenile winner including the Listed Premio Rumon at Rome, this was his second victory of the season.

Bred by Jennifer and Evelyn Cullen, Virtual Game is out of the Sadler's Wells mare Engraving, a daughter of Stakes winner Space Quest and a half-sister to Group-class colt Kocab.

Kheleyf, who stands at Dalham Hall Stud at a fee of £6,000 Oct 1st, SLF, sired 42 juvenile winners last season, which tied the record of Invincible Spirit's for a European stallion. With a further nine already again this year in Europe, he again tops the charts by number of winners. More than just a juvenile stallion, he sired the winners of the Ayr Gold and Silver Cup's in 2012 through Captain Ramius and Mass Rally and already in 2013 he has the Group-winning three-year-old filly Charlie Em, who is unbeaten in the U.S. after being transferred from Great Britain.
