Turn Me Loose takes all before him to record third G1 victory

Futurity Stakes goes to impressive son of Iffraaj

Iffraaj four-year-old Turn Me Loose continues to be a force at the top level after winning his third G1 race in the Futurity Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield on February 27.

Already known as one of Australasia’s most dominant milers, New Zealand-trained Turn Me Loose settled third and was travelling comfortably for jockey Opie Bosson, cruising up to the leaders to win by three quarters of a length.

Trained by Murray Baker, Turn Me Loose, who won the $1 million G1 Emirates Stakes (1600m) in the spring, was bred by George Simon and is the third foal to race from Danehill mare Indomitable, is a half-sister to Stakes performer Martial Art.

Turn Me Loose is one of five G1 winners for Iffraaj, together with RizeenaChriselliamBenvenue and Wootton Bassett.

Last year, he has sired G2 Mill Reef Stakes winner Ribchester, fellow G2 winner Serena Miss, plus G1 performers NathraMagic Artist, Latharnach and Sardaaj.

Iffraaj is standing at Dalham Hall Stud at a fee of £22,500 October 1st, Special live foal.
