Tower of London wins G2 in impressive style

Two-year-old Raven's Pass colt flies home to land the Keio Hai Nisai in Tokyo

Raven’s Pass recorded a new Group winner in scintillating fashion on Saturday, 4 November when his son Tower of London scorched down the Tokyo straight to win the seven-furlong G2 Keio Hai Nisai.

Settled off the pace during the early stages, Tower of London began to make headway once entering the home straight, but it was not until the final furlong that he made his move, demonstrating an impressive turn of foot to sweep to the front and win by two lengths.

Tower of London is the first foal out of the multiple winner Snow Pine (Dalakhani), a half-sister to Lake Toya – dam of Dubawi’s 2017 G1 winner Sobetsu. She is also half sister to fellow Stakes winner Sixth Sense (Shamardal) and is from the family of Generous.

Raven’s Pass has enjoyed a superb year on the track and has now sired 11 Black Type winners in 2017, including multiple Group winner and G1 Metropolitan Handicap second Big Duke, plus fellow G2 winner Secret Number.

Raven’s Pass stands at Kildangan Stud at a fee of €10,000 Oct 1 Special Live Foal.
