Tom Fogarty joins Kildangan Stud Nominations team

The Nominations team at Kildangan Stud has recently welcomed a new member to the team in Tom Fogarty, who took up the position of Nomination Administrator on Thursday, 1 July.

Tom brings with him a wealth of bloodstock experience. He studied Agricultural Science at University College Dublin before becoming a regular visitor to the US working at Gerry Dilger’s Dromoland Farm, and to pinhook foals. He has also worked at Noel O’Callaghan’s Mountarmstrong Stud and most recently, as a Stud Groom at Godolphin’s Ballysheehan Stud.

His passion for thoroughbreds began at home, where he and his family buy National Hunt foals to sell as stores and in the last few years, they have also pinhooked several flat foals.

Describing his new role Tom said, “I’m delighted to have the opportunity to join this outstanding team.

“The current roster of Darley stallions, both here and at Dalham Hall, is very exciting and I am looking forward to meeting breeders at the forthcoming sales.”
