Tickle Me Blue lands the Listed Diana Trial

Lightly-raced daughter of Iffraaj strikes at Baden-Baden

Tickle Me Blue, a three-year-old daughter of Iffraaj, remains on the German Oaks trail after an authoritative victory in the Diana Trial at Baden-Baden. Run over 1800m, she had to overcome trouble at the top of the straight before running on well to win with something to spare at the line. Very lightly-raced, this was only her third career start after a Maiden victory as a two-year-old at Bremen and a fourth in the G3 Schwarzgold Rennen back in April.

Owned and bred by Gestut Gorlsdorf, Tickle Me Blue is a daughter of the Groom Dancer mare Tickle Me Pink, a half-sister to Stakes winner Irresistible, who is herself the dam of the G1 performing filly Infallible. Tickle Me Pink also has a yearling colt by Manduro.

Iffraaj has sired 14 Stakes horses already in 2016 including the Australian G1 winner Turn Me Loose and a pair of Classic performing three-year-olds in Ribchester and Nathra.
