Third Stakes win of 2020 for daughter of Raven’s Pass

Progressive filly Lemista lands the G2 Kilboy Estate Stakes

Lemista, a progressive three-year-old daughter of Raven’s Pass, remained unbeaten in 2020 with victory in the G2 Kilboy Estate Stakes on Sunday, 19 July. The winner of the G3 Park Express Stakes and Listed Victor McCalmont Memorial Stakes earlier in the year, Lemista came from the rear and with a good change of pace won the nine furlong contest by three-quarters-of-a-length.

Bred by Drumlin Bloodstock, Lemista is a daughter of Shortmile Lady, a half-sister to Stakes-winning sprinter Indian Maiden.

Lemista is one of 10 Stakes performers sired by Raven’s Pass this year. They are headed by impressive G1 winner Matterhorn, who won the Al Maktoum Challenge R3 back in March.
