Iffraaj notches his 32nd winner as Weapon Of Choice scores at Goodwood

The winners keep rolling in for Europe’s leading first-crop sire Iffraaj, who on Sunday recorded his 32nd individual winner of the season.

Weapon Of Choice followed up on the early promise shown when running second at Goodwood on his debut by returning to the same track to land the nine-furlong maiden by three and a half lengths.

Bred by Stone Ridge Farm, he is the second foal of the Sinndar mare Tullawadgeen, who is a half-sister to Poule d’Essai des Poulains winner Tie Black from the great Mill Princess family.

Iffraaj’s growing army of winners is headed by last Sunday’s Prix Jean-Luc Lagardère hero Wootton Bassett, who is unbeaten in five starts and has earned £524,445.
