Second winner for Cracksman

Petra becomes her sires second winner in the space of two days

Cracksman sired a new winner on Sunday, 22 May when Petra was the wide-margin winner of a 1100m maiden in Spain. Making her second career start after a promising debut second, Petra was quickly away and never saw another rival, winning by over fifteen lengths!

Cracksman has now sired two winners from three runners after Aloa’s easy debut victory on Saturday in Italy.

Bred in France by Jean Pierre Dubois, Petra is a daughter of the Stakes-winning Storm Cat mare Peinture Rose, a half-sister to Champion Peintre Celebre.

Cracksman was the winner of his only start at two, going on to be crowned Champion at both three and four following two dominant displays in the G1 Champion Stakes. The best son of Frankel has been well supported at stud and his first yearlings were extremely well received last autumn making up to 410,000gns at the sales.
