Second Stakes win for son of Iffraaj

Fast Raaj lands the Listed Prix Luthier at Deauville

Fast Raaj, a four-year-old son of Iffraaj, won his second Stakes race on Saturday, 10 December when taking the Listed Prix Luthier at Deauville. Run over 1500m, he was adding to his G3 Prix Djebel last season with his three-quarters-of-a-lengh victory.

Fast Raaj is one of three winner bred out of the Raven’s Pass mare Interesting, who was Group-placed as a juvenile in France ten years ago.

Iffraaj has sired 20 Stakes performers in 2022 including My Prospero, who is highest-rated three-year-old trained in GB or Ireland. Trained by Wiliam Haggas and rated 129 by Timeform, he won the G2 Prix Eugene Adam and was third in the G1 Champion Stakes.
