Rosaleen lands Listed Pipalong Stakes

Daughter of Cadeaux Genereux records her second Stakes win

Rosaleen, a four-year-old daughter of Cadeaux Genereux, added further Black type to her CV on 8 June when justifying odds-on favouritism to win the Listed Pipalong Stakes at Pontefract.

Settled off the pace under jockey Martin Dwyer, Rosaleen made her move going into the final turn and taking the lead a furlong from home, ran on well to land the one-mile contest by two lengths.

This was the second victory at Listed level for Brian Meehan’s charge, who also won the Distaff Stakes at Sandown last July.

Bred by Alan Dargan, Rosaleen is out of the Darshaan mare Dark Rosaleen who is a half-sister to two Stakes winners in Man Of Honour and Tender Offer.
