Outstrip at the double

Two new winners for the Breeders’ Cup winner

First-season sire Outstrip sired two new winners on Monday, 7 October.

First to salute the judge was his daughter Outburst, who won 1200m at Toulouse. Making her second career start after a debut second, the R Stockli & M Wurtenberger-bred filly wasn't hard pressed to win by three quarters of a length.

High Accolade, a colt trained by James Tate, came to the races with a big reputation on his debut at Newcastle, and it was well deserved, winning by half a length with five lengths back to the third.

Bred by James Hanley and a 42,000Gns Breeze-up purchase, High Accolade is out of the multiple juvenile scorer Honeymead (Pivotal).

Outstrip has now sired 15 individual winners including Listed winner Flippa The Strippa and Stakes performer La La Land.
