New Approach records his seventh winner

Talent looks to be the latest promising juvenile for her first-season sire

First-season sire New Approach recorded his seventh individual winner on 7 September when his daughter Talent won in convincing fashion over seven furlongs at Kempton.

Settled in second position, Ralph Beckett’s charge took the lead inside the final furlong and held off a late challenge from subsequent second Hanzada well to win by a neck.

Bred by Ashbrittle Stud and M H Dixon, Talent is the second winner out of Listed-placed Peintre Celebre mare Prowess, also dam of Black type performer Skilful.

New Approach has made an outstanding start to his stud career, siring unbeaten G2 winner Dawn Approach, a further two Black type winners plus unbeaten Godolphin colt Cap O’Rushes.
