Naval Crown sires a new winner

Hell Of A Spin strikes at Hamilton Park

Hell Of A Spin, a first crop son of Naval Crown, won his first race on Saturday, 11 July, when landing the five furlong maiden at Hamilton Park. After a debut second at Newcastle, he was also always prominent and showed determination to comfortably hold off Casino Star.

Bred by Corduff Stud, Hell Of A Spin is out of the winning Azamour mare Shamankiyna, who had previously produced the highly rated winner Smokey Bear. Shamankiyna also has a yearling filly by Naval Crown.

Naval Crown, the winner of the G1 Platinum Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot, has already sired some very promising runners from his first crop. Crown Of Ivy was impressive on his only start when winning at Doncaster whilst Napa struck on his second start at Newmarket in May.
