Son of Slickly steps up in style

Mot de Passe showed a smart turn of foot to land the Listed Prix Georges Trebaud at Marseille on Tuesday. The son of Slickly was recording his fourth consecutive victory of the year and his first in Stakes company.

Mot de Passe travelled well throughout the 2000m contest to draw clear in the final 200m and score by three-quarters of a length from Iceberg (Shamardal).

Bred and owned by Jean-Claude Seroul, Mot de Passe is the 15th Stakes winner for his sire who was the leading sire in France by winners in 2014. Slickly is standing this season at Haras du Logis for €5,500 October 1 SLF.
