Dubawi continues to blaze the trail with his Stakes winners, the latest coming in the form of his talented four-year-old son Zaydann in the nine and a half furlong Listed Grand Prix de Bordeaux at Bordeaux Le Bouscat on Saturday 23rd May 2026.
The Francis Graffard-trained colt has won each of his last four starts and the latest, his seasonal reappearance, was noteworthy in its ease. Breaking smartly, Zaydann was tucked against the rail by Mickael Barzalona and happy to take a lead, settling into third place. Always travelling comfortably, he showed an incredible turn of foot as the field rounded the home bend, sprinting away to win by an easy three lengths.
Bred by H H The Aga Khan's Studs S C, Zaydann is the first foal out of the mare Zaykava (Siyouni), herself a twice-winning daughter of the elite Zarkava. He has a three-year-old half-sister in the Frankel three-time winner Zayida.
