More Group glory for King’s Best

Best Dating lands the G3 Prix du Pin at Longchamp

Best Dating made it a memorable weekend for his sire King's Best on Sunday September 4, when coming from last to first to land the G3 Prix du Pin over seven-furlongs at Longchamp. Heading into the race on the back of a Listed win at Deauville, he has now won four races and never been out of the first three in his last nine starts.

Bred in Ireland by Gerrardstown Stud, he is a son of the Cadeaux Genereux mare Just Special, a Listed winner over seven-furlongs at Leopardstown, who has given birth this year to a Cape Cross half-brother to Best Dating.

With Best Dating and Modun both winning G3 races this weekend, King's Best has now sired 24 Group winners including six at the highest level. This season he has sired 13 Stakes horses including five winners at Group level.
