Making all the noise

Elusive Quality's Elusive Noise wins first career Stakes race

Three-year-old filly Elusive Noise made all the noise June 26 at Emerald Downs in the Irish Day Handicap. It was the first Stakes victory for the Elusive Quality filly, who won her debut by six lengths in April and followed with an Allowance score in May. Taking command from the start of the one mile race, Elusive Noise sprinted to the front and set the pace. The filly went wire-to-wire for an effortless victory.

Elusive Noise is a daughter of G3 Modesty Handicap victress Noisette, by Broad Brush. The mare is a half-sister to Stakes winner and Graded-placed Roi Maudit and Graded-placed Mille Feville.

Elusive Quality is the sire of seven G1 winners, including G1 Kentucky Derby winner Smarty Jones and G1 Breeders’ Cup Classic winner Raven’s Pass. Elusive Quality is also the sire of 2011 Australian G1 winner Sepoy. His stud fee for 2011 is $50,000 Stands and Nurses.
