Iffraaj sires the first two in the Luther Burbank Stakes

Sloane Garden beats Ziarah at Golden Gate Fields

Iffraaj’s four-year-old daughter Sloane Garden won her second successive Stakes race on Saturday, 1 August when taking the Luther Burbank Stakes. The winner of the Golden Poppy Stakes on her previous start, she got the better of her paternal half-sister Ziarah by three-quarters-of-a-length in the turf contest at Golden Gate Fields.

Bred by Jupiter Bloodstock, Sloane Garden is a daughter of the Teofilo mare Sloane Square, a full-sister to Stakes winner Miblish.

Sloane Garden is one of 72 Black type winners sired by Iffraaj. They are headed by his fantastic miler Ribchester, winner of four G1’s including the Queen Anne Stakes at Royal Ascot.
