Halling sires his 26th Group winner

Jutland lands the G3 Abu Dhabi Championship

Jutland, a son of Halling, became his sires 26th individual Group winner when landing the G3 Abu Dhabi Championship over 2200m. Formally trained by Mark Johnston where he was the winner of five races in the UK, he has now won a further four races for his Dubai handler Doug Watson.

Bred by Darley, he is the first foal out of winning Darshaan mare Dramatique. Still in Darley ownership, she has been transferred to Japan and has a two-year-old filly and a yearling colt by Commands and is due to foal to Admire Moon this season.

Halling, who will stand this season for £10,000 Oct 1st SLF, is famed for siring tough and consistent runners. His 26 Group winners now average nearly 27 starts apiece with earnings of over £327,000.
