Group Two winner for Tiger Hill

Eye Of The Tiger lands Gerling-Preis

Cologne’s feature race of the day on Sunday fell to Tiger Hill five-year-old Eye Of The Tiger, who saw off Getaway in a tight finish to win the G2 Gerling-Preis. Eastern Aria, by Halling, was fourth in the race.

Eye Of The Tiger is a full-brother to the Listed winner Echoes Rock and was bred by Baron Von Ullmann, who also bred the runner-up. The winner is out of the Surumu mare Evening Breeze.

The G3 Silberen Peische on the same card was won by Contat, a son of former Darley stallion Diktat.
