Glamorous Approach gamely wins the Listed Silver Stakes

Daughter of New Approach makes most of the running at the Curragh

Glamorous Approach, a four-year-old daughter of New Approach who won the Listed Zetland Stakes as a juvenile, doubled her Stakes tally when landing the Listed Silver Stakes at the Curragh. Going to the front after a couple of furlongs, she never saw another rival, quickening off a strong pace to defeat Laganore by a length-and-a-quarter.

Owned, bred and trained by Jim Bolger, Glamorous Approach is the first foal of the Rock Of Gibraltar mare Maria Lee, who also has a two-year-old filly, named Teologia, by Teofilo, a yearling filly by New Approach and has been scanned in foal to Dawn Approach this season.

New Approach has sired 30 lifetime Stakes winners including Champion Dawn Approach, Classic winners Talent and May’s Dream, and last season’s European G1 winners Potemkin and Elliptique.
