Four winners for Raven’s Pass
Relco Nordic wins first time out to become the latest winner for his first-season sire
First-season sire Raven's Pass recorded his fourth individual winner on 29 July, when his son Relco Nordic made a successful debut at Merano, Italy, winning the seven-and-a-half-furlong maiden by a length and a half.
Bred by Lady Bamford, Relco Nordic is out of the Stakes-placed Sadler’s Wells mare Be My Queen, herself a half-sister to G1-winning sprinter Imperial Beauty.
Raven’s Pass, a record-breaking juvenile who went on to win the Breeders' Cup Classic at three, has made a promising start to his stud career, with Chesham Stakes third Lovely Pass heading up his four winners.
