First-season sire Country Reel sired his second winner inside three days on 10 August, when Flowers In Spring was victorious over seven furlongs at Clairefontaine.

In taking the fillies’ maiden by a short head from Elisheba, she becomes the fourth individual winner for her sire.

Bred by Gestut Eulenberger and now owned by Theresa Marnane, Flowers In Spring is out of the winning mare Wadayama, a daughter of multiple Stakes winner Winteraster.
