First mares scanned in foal to Naval Crown and Perfect Power

New Darley stallions get their stud career underway

Naval Crown (pictured) and Perfect Power, new to the Kildangan and Dalham Hall Stud rosters respectively, have now had multiple mares scanned in foal.

Dubawi’s fastest son, Naval Crown, won last year’s G1 Platinum Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot, beating Highfield Princess, Kinross, Alcohol Free, Minzaal and Campanelle. He also won the G2 Fahidi Fort at Meydan in 2022, the same year he was second in the G1 July Cup. Naval Crown was a smart two-year-old, winning the Convivial Maiden by four and a half lengths.

Perfect Power was crowned Champion Juvenile following impressive victories in the Norfolk, the G1 Prix Morny and G1 Middle Park Stakes. In winning the G1 Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot last year, he became the fastest horse in the history of the Pattern to win three six-furlong G1 contests.
