First foal for Too Darn Hot

Multiple Group winner I’m So Fancy produces 'lovely, quality' colt

The first reported foal by unbeaten European Champion two-year-old and multiple G1-winning three-year-old Too Darn Hot has safely arrived.

The bay colt, bred by Lael Stable and foaled at New England Stud, is out of multiple Group winner I’m So Fancy.

The colt was described by New England Stud’s Peter Stanley as, “He is a lovely, quality foal with a great outlook.

“If all Too Darn Hot’s foals look like this, he will be a very exciting young stallion”.

Too Darn Hot covered an outstanding book of mares during his first season at Dalham Hall Stud in 2020 that included the dams of seven G1 winners including Masar, Lord North and Quorto.

He also covered as many Stakes winners, their dams or siblings as his sire Dubawi and Night Of Thunder covered combined during their first seasons.

Too Darn Hot stands alongside his sire, together with his paternal half-brother and four-time G1 winner Postponed (£7,500, October 1, SLF), who will see his first runners hit the track later this year.
