A closer look at some of New Approach's latest arrivals
New Approach x Dancing Rain

Born late February, this stunning colt is the third foal of the multiple Classic winner Dancing Rain.

Trained by William Haggas, Dancing Rain carried all before her in 2011, winning both the English and German Oaks before landing the Champions Fillies' And Mares' Stakes on Champions Day at Ascot.

A close relative of Derby winner Dr Devious and Champion juvenile filly Maybe, her first foal - a two-year-old Frankel filly named Rainswept, is in training in France with Andre Fabre. Dancing Rain will visit Dubawi this season.

New Approach x Barshiba

A Jeff Smith homebred, the admirable Barshiba was a six-time Stakes winner with her victories including the G2 Lancashire Oaks two years in succession, despite  having vision in only one eye.

Retired to her owner's Littleton Stud, her first foal was star filly Arabian Queen (Dubawi), winner of the G1 Juddmonte International Stakes at York. This colt, born on 28 February, is her fourth foal and she also has a Dubawi yearling filly.

New Approach x Avongrove

This colt, born 29 January, is the third foal out of the Tiger Hill mare Avongrove.

Trained in France by Andre Fabre, Avongrove won at Longchamp before running second in the Listed Prix de la Seine at the same course. A half-sister to two Stakes winners including G1 stayer Veracity and a direct descendent of Oaks heroine Unite, Avongrove's first foal was last season's multiple two-year-old winner Welford (Dubawi). She also has a two-year-old colt by Dubawi in training with Saeed bin Suroor and has been scanned in foal to the same stallion this season.

New Approach x Ama

She is out of the Storm Cat mare Ama, whose first three foals are all winners and include last seasons five-length juvenile scorer Mirror City (Street Cry), who has an entry in the Irish 1,000 Guineas. She also has a yearling filly by Dubawi.

Miesque was a Champion in her native France, the US and in England and won a total of ten G1 races including the Breeders' Cup Mile, twice. As a broodmare she has she produced the Classic winners Kingmambo and East Of The Moon, with further descendants including Karakontie, Rumplestiltskin and Tapestry.

New Approach x Modeyra

This New Approach filly, born on 17 March, is a daughter of the Stakes-winning Shamardal mare Modeyra.

Modeyra, who was rated 117p by Timeform at the end of her three-year-old campaign after her victory in the Listed Severals Stakes, is a daughter of the G1 Nassua Stakes winner Zahrat Dubai and a granddaughter of the German Classic winner Walesiana.
