Cracksmania is a new Stakes winner for Cracksman

Three-year-old filly makes all to land Listed Prix Caravelle

Cracksman sired a new Stakes winner on Sunday, 23 April when his three-year-old daughter Cracksmania was the very easy winner of the Listed Prix Caravelle at Toulouse in France on her third career start.

The Philippe Sogorb-trained filly was soon taken to the front by Alejandro Gutierrez Val where she stayed throughout the 2,100m race, holding off a brief challenge from Turn Cartwheels in the closing stages she stayed on well to prevail by one and a quarter lengths.  Cracksmania is now the winner of two from three starts, scoring by an impressive three and a half lengths on her debut in February at Pau, before finishing third in Listed company on her second start three weeks later.

Owned and bred by Guy Pariente Holding, Cracksmania is the first foal out of Group-placed mare Panthelia (Gentlewave), who also has an unraced two-year-old filly by Cracksman.

Cracksman, himself a dual World Champion, has so far sired four Black Type performers.  They are headed by G2-winning filly Aloa, who won the Premio Dormello in Italy plus Listed winner Dance In The Grass.  He is also the sire of Listed-placed filly Crackovia and three-time winning filly Petra.

Cracksman stands at Dalham Hall Stud for £17,500 Oct 1, SLF.
