The charging of a bull

R Betty Graybull, by Holy Bull, wins in New York

Making a last to first move, and having to go five wide at the top of the stretch, didn't stop R Betty Graybull, by Holy Bull, from charging past the field to win going away in the Leecoo Stakes in New York on January 13.

It was the third win in the last four starts for the five-year-old mare and her third career stakes win. Bred by Pegasus Farms, Inc., in New York, R Betty Graybull is out of the unraced Evansville Slew mare Hey Darla, she a half-sister to Listed winner Sweet Diva.

Holy Bull is the sire of 91 career stakes horses and the earners of over $46 million. His other runners include Champion Macho Uno and Kentucky Derby winner Giacomo.
