Slade Power x Key To Peace

Filly from the first crop of Champion sprinter Slade Power shows off her paces

This filly from the first crop of the dual G1-winning sprinter Slade Power is eager to show off her paces as she enjoys some sunshine with her dam Key To Peace.

Born on January 31 and shown here at ten days old, the filly is bred for speed, being out of a dual Stakes-placed sprinting mare. Key To Peace (Kheleyf) showed her best when twice placed in Listed company over 7f in France, although her half-brother Mkuzi (Halling) was twice a winner of the G3 Curragh Cup over 1m6f.

The Champion sprinter Slade Power earned his stripes with G1 victories in the Diamond Jubilee at Royal Ascot and the Darley July Cup, after which he was awarded a Timeform rating of 130, making him the highest-rated sprinter in a decade and the best from his sireline since Street Cry.
