Dual G1-winning mare produces this lovely colt
Kenilworth House Stud's La Collina provided the first entrant in our foal blog last year, and she leads the way again with this cracking son of Shamardal, foaled on January 16.
Winner of the G1 Phoenix Stakes at two, La Collina added further G1 glory to her tally at four when landing the Matron Stakes. Her first foal, a filly by Dubawi, made a splash at the Tattersalls December Sales less than two months ago, when purchased for 625,000gns, making her the third most expensive foal sold at that sale.
