Daughter of Dubawi breaks maiden in style in France

After being placed twice at two, Powder Snow broke her maiden in spectacular style for Godolphin in a 1m3f conditions contest at Royan La Palmyre, hacking up by an impressive 14 lengths.

The daughter of Dubawi, now in training with Henri-Alex Pantall, ran four times at two in Britain, with her best results being a second and third. Out of the Sadler's Wells mare Snow Ballerina, Powder Snow is a half-sister to three winners, including the triple winner Snow Squall, Snow Ballerina is herself a three-parts sister to the Derby and Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe victor Lammtarra, and is also a half- or full-sister to five further black type performers, being out of Snow Bride who was promoted to Oaks success in 1989.
