Made Of Honour

Daughter of Casamento easily breaks her maiden at Ayr

Casamento has been enjoying a very good May and on it's final day his daughter Made Of Honour graduated in style, breaking her maiden by three-and-a-quarter lengths on her third career start.

Unraced as a juvenile, she made her debut at Doncaster over seven furlongs at the start of April when running second to Godolphin's high-class Benbatl before another excellent placed effort over that course and distance at the end of the month. Enjoying the step down to six furlongs, and the slightly weaker competition, she showed admirable qualities to easily win at Ayr in the style of a filly who can keep progressing.

Bred by Limetree Stud, Made Of Honour is a daughter of the Namid mare Bonne, a winner over six furlongs at Nottingham.

This season Casamento has sired the Classic fillies Stamp Collecting and Paiardina in Italy, Group filly Rythmique in France, Ireland's Noivado, only beaten a neck in a Listed race at Dundalk, and Glastonbury Song, fourth in last weekends Irish 2,000 Guineas and a high number of progressive winners including Zaffinah and Arzaak. He is standing this season at a fee of £5,000 Oct 1st, SLF.
