John & Jake Warren secure son of Derby sire Cape Cross for 425,000gns
An outstanding year for Cape Cross was capped on Sunday when his Derby-winning son Golden Horn added the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe to his big race haul. On Thursday, the spotlight switched to his progeny in the sales ring, with John and Jake Warren going to 425,000gns for a colt from The Castlebridge Consignment.
A half-brother to seven winners including No Dream, a Listed winner in France, the colt is from the family of the dual US G1 winner Dare And Go.
