Dawn Approach's brother breaks his maiden in style at Naas

After making a promising debut second at the start of last month, New Approach's (pictured) two-year-old son Herald The Dawn went one better on Monday August 4 when running out the very easy winner of a seven furlong maiden at Naas. Despite being keen early and racing wider than ideal, he quickened up very well in the final two furlongs to record a two-and-a-quarter length triumph.

Bred by his trainer Jim Bolger and out of the Phone Trick mare Hymn Of The Dawn, Herald The Dawn is a full brother to Champion juvenile and Classic hero Dawn Approach. Held in high esteem, he holds future entries in numerous Group races including the G1's National Stakes and Middle Park Stakes.
