The son of Sepoy looks a potential star at Newbury
First-season sire Sepoy has a number of very promsing winners and on Friday 16 September a potential star made his debut for William Haggas.
Executive Force, a son of the Cape Cross mare Mazuna, was well supported in the market on the back of excellent homework and a G1 Dewhurst Stakes entry. Held up early behind the pacesetting Dimitre, he travelled supremely well on the soft ground and quickened clear to win by two-and-a-quarter lengths in the style of a quality colt.
Mazuna, who hails from the extended family of Sakhee, has now produced three winners including this season's G2 Middleton Stakes heroine Beautiful Romance (New Approach). Mazuna also had a colt foal born in April by New Approach.
