Impressive debut by son of Shamardal out of Breeders' Cup winner
Emotionless could hardly have been more impressive on his debut at Newmarket over 7f, cruising into contention 3f from home and striding clear to win by three and a half lengths for Godolphin.
The son of Shamardal">Shamardal is superbly bred, being a son of the G1 Breeders' Cup Distaff heroine Unbridled Elaine. Emotionless is the eight foal out of the daughter of Unbridled's Song, following on from Etched, a dual G2 winner over 9f on dirt as well as being a G3 winner at two, and Out Of Bounds (Discreet Cat), who took a G3 in the US before going on to be G2-placed in Dubai.
Unbridled Elaine produced a full sister to Out Of Bounds this year.
