Ebediyin

A son of Raven's Pass with a very bright future

Raven's Pass is enjoying a fruitful time with his juveniles and he could have another star on his hands after Ebediyin made a perfect start to his career at Galway.

Owned and bred by H.H. The Aga Khan and trained by the Galway maestro Dermot Weld, he is bred in the purple being a son of the Irish Oaks heroine Ebadiyla and a half to nine winners including three that have performed at Group level. Glowing in praise after the race his trainer commented "He's a lovely colt in the making.....He's a beautifully bred horse with great stamina. If I run him again this year it will probably be in the Listed Eyrefield Stakes on the last day of the season at Leopardstown...He's a horse to look forward to for next year".

It could be a very good week at Doncaster for Raven's Pass's two-year-olds with his G2 Vintage Stakes second Ibn Malik entered in the G2 Champagne Stakes on Saturday, his Stakes-winning son Riflescope has a G2 Flying Childers entry and his impressive Newmarket maiden winner Venturous steps up to conditions class on Wednesday.
