Bici Bici wins her fourth Stakes race

Daughter of Authorized lands the Nene Hatun in Turkey

Authorized’s star Turkish three-year-old filly Bici Bici landed her fourth Stakes race on Sunday June 28 when taking the Listed Nene Hatun (a local G2) at Istanbul. Held up in midfield early on in the 1900m contest, she made headway at the start of the straight, galloping resolutely all the way to the line to record a one-and-a-half length victory. She has now won seven of her 12 starts with prize money well in excess of €500,000.

Bred by Dicle Kim.Dep.Paz.Nak out of the dam Bellini Rose (who was bought in foal to Authorized at Goffs in 2011), a winning daughter of Bertolini who is herself a daughter of G2-winner Prospectress.

Bici Bici is one of eight Stakes winners sired by Authorized in 2015 including G1 BMW hero Hartnell, Australian G2 winner Maygrove and the impressive Irish Listed winner Answered.
