Celestial Crown, a first-crop daughter of Naval Crown, gained a valuable first victory on Wednesday 7, October when winning a Nursery at Navan. After a short-head second on debut at Cork, she was considered good enough to contest the Listed Tipperary Stakes in July, and it was a welcome return to form on her seventh career start.
Bred by Forenaghts Stud, Celestial Crown is from the extended family of Ghaiyyath, and out of the winning mare Moment Of Silence, who has already bred the multiple scorer Mao Shang Wong (Too Darn Hot).
Naval Crown is enjoying an excellent first season with his highlights the G3-winning filly Sea Of Rain, the G1-placed Hell Of A Spin and the Stakes-placed Dance A Jig. Earlier this week he also sired the impressive Yarmouth debutant scorer Emocionante.
