Mithaaly, a first-crop colt by Perfect Power, graduated to the winners enclosure on Monday, 17 August when landing the Maiden at Windsor over six furlongs. Always prominent, he wasn’t hard pressed to record an easy four-and-three-quarter length triumph over Arthur Carrot, also by Perfect Power, who made a very nice debut in second.

Mithaaly was making his third career start after a brace of seconds at Windsor and Yarmouth, and he holds a big sales race entry later this year.
Bred by R J Vines and a 260,000gns yearling, Mithaaly is a son of the winning Oasis Dream mare Perfect Muse, who has produced three previous winners all by Outstrip.
Champion juvenile Perfect Power has now sired five first-crop winners including Tropical Crown, Rouhi and Underdog, who all scored on debut before going on to contest Black Type races.
