Rayevka, a three-year-old daughter of Blue Point, won her first Stakes race on Sunday, 1 June when landing the Listed Prix Marchand d’Or. Run over 1200m at Chantilly, she cruised through from the rear to win easily by three lengths.
Owned and bred by the Aga Khan, she is out of the Stakes-placed Holy Roman Emperor mare Rayisa, who was second and third in Listed races at the ages of two and three.
Rayevka is the fourth Stakes winner from Blue Point’s second crop headed by the G2-winning juvenile filly Sky Majesty. His first crop contains 11 Stakes winners including three top-flight winners in Rosallion, Big Evs and Kind Of Blue.
Impressive! 👀
