Mukaafah the latest impressive runner for Blue Point

Shadwell colt becomes the fifth new winner since Friday for his first-season sire

The Blue Points continue to fly, and on Wednesday 15 November he added a fifth new winner to his record in less than a week when Mukaafah put up a dominant performance to take the six-furlong novice at Kempton.

Soon in front under Jim Crowley, Kevin Phillipart De Foy’s charge never saw another rival, cruising to a clear lead and eventually crossed the line three and a half lengths in front.

A homebred for Shadwell, Mukaafah is out of the winning Frankel mare Tasleya, herself a daughter of multiple Group winner and G1 Prix Rothschild third Mashoora.

Blue Point has made an outstanding start to his stud career, siring G1-winning duo Big Evs and Rosallion among his 10 Black Type performers.

Blue Point stands at Kildangan Stud at a fee of €60,000, Oct 1, SLF.
