Blue Bolt, a four-year-old daughter of Blue Point, graduated to the top level on Friday 10, July when easily winning the G1 Falmouth Stakes. Run over a mile at Newmarket, she was always going well and wasn’t hard pressed to beat four-time G1 winner Precise by two lengths.

From nine career starts, Blue Bolt has now won six races including the G2 Duke Of Cambridge Stakes last month at Royal Ascot. She is unbeaten this season after an earlier victory in the Listed Conqueror Stakes at Goodwood.
Blue Bolt was bred by C-Squared Investments and was purchased for €400,000 by Juddmonte as a yearling. She is out of the Group-winning Whipper mare Mayhem, dam of two further Stakes winners in Sea Theme and Sky Angel.
It has been a fantastic week for Blue Point at Newmarket after his juvenile son Inner City Blues remained unbeaten in the G2 July Stakes yesterday. He has sired 23 Black Type performers this year including Group winners Elmonjed, Dubai Beach, Rayevka and Remmooz.
