Blue Point sires his first winner

Action Point easily wins on debut at Kempton Park

Brilliant sprinter Blue Point sired his first winner on Monday, 10 April when his first-crop son Action Point won on his debut at Kempton Park. Knowing his job well from an outside stall, he was always in the front rank and wasn’t extended to record a one-and-a-quarter length triumph.

Bred by Rabbah Bloodstock, Action Point is the first winner bred from the Exceed And Excel mare Khaleesi Wind, a full-sister to Stakes-winning juvenile Excelette.

A wide-margin winner of the G2 Gimcrack Stakes as a juvenile, Blue Point went on to win four G1 sprints including three at Royal Ascot. His impressive first crop yearlings averaged €116,000 at the sales last season with a top price of €420,000.
