Blue Bolt, a four-year-old daughter of Blue Point, landed her fourth consecutive G1 when easily landing the Sun Chariot Stakes. Run over Newmarket’s straight mile, she wasn’t hard pressed to record a two-and-three-quarter length victory over Evolutionist (Night Of Thunder).

The fantastic Blue Bolt makes it four Group 1 triumphs and six from six this season in the @BetMGMUK Sun Chariot Stakes! @NewmarketRace @AndrewBalding2 | @ctkjockey | @JuddmonteFarms pic.twitter.com/doI1EVr0sb
It has been a perfect year for Blue Bolt starting in May in the Listed Conqueror Stakes at Goodwood. From there it was a G2 victory at Royal Ascot in the Duchess Of Cambridge Stakes, then a trio of G1’s in the Falmouth, Prix Rothschild and Matron Stakes.
Bred by C-Squared Investments, Blue Bolt is a daughter of the Whipper mare Mayhem, a G3 winner in France. Bought by Juddmonte Farms for €400,000 as a yearling, Blue Bolt is a half-sister to further two Stakes winners.
Blue Point is enjoying an excellent season, siring 32 Black Type horses including G1 winners Samangan and Folsom Blues, plus Group winners Elmonjed, Inner City Blues, Dubai Beach and Rayevka.
