Dubawi’s brilliant son Notable Speech displayed his superb turn of foot on Saturday, 16 May when easily winning his fifth G1 in the Lockinge Stakes. Using his customary hold up tactics over Newbury’s straight mile, he sliced through the field to easily win by two lengths over two sons of Night Of Thunder in More Thunder and Zeus Olympios.

Notable Speech has now won five G1 races after the 2,000 Guineas and Sussex Stakes as a three-year-old and the Breeders’ Cup Mile and Woodbine Mile last year.
Notable Speech is the first foal of the G3-placed mare Swift Rose (Invincible Spirit), who is herself a half-sister to G1 winner Wild Beauty and Group scorer Desert Wisdom.
Dubawi has now sired the winners of four Lockinge Stakes after Night Of Thunder, Modern Games and Lead Artist, a record for the race. Future stallion Notable Speech will also join other winners of the race in Farhh and Palace Pier on the Darley roster at the end of his racing career.
