Shuttle stallions return to Europe

All stallions now available to view ahead of the new covering season

Ten of Darley’s shuttle stallions, including new reverse shuttlers Brazen Beau, Hallowed Crown, Shooting To Win and Sidestep, have safely arrived in the northern hemisphere and are now available for breeders to view at their respective studs.

Brazen Beau is settling in well at Dalham Hall, together with Poet’s Voice, who recently recorded his first southern hemisphere winner after a very successful 2015 season in Europe which saw him sire 18 individual first-crop winners, including three Stakes winners. Also back at Dalham Hall Stud are Helmet and Sepoy, both of whom will see their first European two-year-olds hit the racecourse this year.

Iffraaj has also returned from stud duties in New Zealand, where he has enjoyed another successful year courtesy of G1 winner Turn Me Loose.

They join Casamento, who is standing in Britain for the first time, plus regular Dalham Hall residents Dubawi, Farhh, New Approach, together with new Club stallion Outstrip who has already proved extremely popular with breeders.

New to the Kildangan roster for 2016 are the G1-winning milers Hallowed Crown and Shooting To Win, who arrive from Australia with Dawn Approach, Epaulette and Exceed And Excel.

They join Cape Cross, Club stallions French Navy and Fulbright, new stallion recruit Night Of Thunder, Raven’s Pass, Shamardal, Slade Power and Teofilo in the Kildangan stallion yard.

Champion juvenile Sidestep completes the quarter of new reverse shuttlers and is now based at Haras du Logis.

All stallions are now available to view, so please call our Nominations team to make an appointment.

There will also be open days held at Dalham Hall Stud on Wednesday 13 and Thursday 14 January, where the stallions may be viewed from 11.30am to 2.30pm. If you are able to visit next week, please contact us by e-mail or phone on +44 1638 730070.
