New juvenile Stakes winner for Raven’s Pass

Son Of Corballis lands Tipperary Stakes

Raven’s Pass recorded a new two-year-old Black Type winner on Wednesday 5 July when Son Of Corballis made virtually all to take the five-furlong Listed Tipperary Stakes in Ireland.

Breaking smartly from the stalls, the Kieran Potter-trained colt soon took up the running and held off a strong challenge from the short-priced favourite Alabama to win by a neck.

Son Of Corballis was bred by Mighty Universe and is the first foal out of the Exceed And Excel mare Equanimity, a half-sister to Stakes winner and G1 performer Devotee.

Raven’s Pass is now sire of 37 individual Stakes winners, including four G1 winners and a further four G1 performers.
